Joseph McKinney

Future Cities Forum

Joseph McKinney quit his career in electoral politics after learning that entrepreneurship and technology is the best way to instigate social change. He founded and served as CEO of his first company, Proudsource, a proto-ICO crowdfunding company which allowed small businesses to receive investment in exchange for revenue shares for a definite period of time. While pursuing Proudsource, he co-founded the Startup Societies Foundation, a think tank that studies and promotes experimental governance zones by conducting studies, publishing digital content, and hosting international conferences. Success compounded, growing the Foundation’s base, attracting funding, and growing a entrepreneurial/political movement. Consequently, the Startup Societies Foundation recently created a new research arm, The Institute for Competitive Governance. The Institute publishes academic research with the intention of promoting special jurisdictions among policymakers. He is now the CEO of Nuhanse Network, providing it the vision to lead the Governance as a Service (GaaS) industry by providing support to blockchain companies and special jurisdictions.
